Come join a group of like minded individuals and slow down, move your body, and reconnect with nature and yourself on Thursday 6/18 at 5:30 pm in Hope Valley
Rooted: Reiki Infused Guided Mindful Nature Walks
What to Expect
Rooted is a space to slow down, connect with nature, and reconnect with yourself. Our events combine mindful hiking, reflection, Reiki, and community in a supportive and welcoming environment.
No previous experience with Reiki, meditation, or spiritual practices is needed—just come as you are.
Before You Arrive
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for the trail and weather.
Bring water and any personal items you may need.
We encourage bringing a journal for reflection & blanket / mat to sit on
If you wear reading glasses, consider bringing them for journaling activities.
Arrive a few minutes early to allow time for parking and check-in.
During the Experience
We'll begin by gathering as a group for introductions and an opportunity to set a personal intention for the experience.
From there, we'll hike at a relaxed pace, stopping at various locations along the trail to slow down, connect with nature, and engage in guided activities. Depending on the event, these may include:
Guided reflection and journaling prompts
Grounding and mindfulness exercises
Guided meditations
Opportunities to receive Reiki while seated in nature
Time for personal reflection and quiet connection with the natural world
Meaningful conversation and community connection
There is never any pressure to share or participate beyond what feels comfortable for you. We encourage you to honor your own needs and engage in the experience in a way that feels supportive and authentic.
Reiki During Rooted Events
Reiki offered during Rooted events is intended to promote relaxation, grounding, and nervous system regulation. Many participants describe feeling calmer, more present, and more connected to themselves and their surroundings after receiving Reiki.
Our Intention
Rooted was created to offer a space where people can step away from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with themselves through nature, mindfulness, and community. Whether you're seeking stress relief, personal insight, connection, or simply time outdoors, our hope is that you leave feeling more grounded, refreshed, and rooted within yourself.
Please note: Trails may include uneven terrain, roots, rocks, and changes in elevation. Participants are encouraged to choose a pace that feels comfortable and listen to their bodies throughout the experience.
We can't wait to walk with you. 🌿

Reiki is a gentle energy healing practice that promotes relaxation, balance, and overall well-being. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese words Rei (universal) and Ki (life force energy).
As a Reiki practitioner, I act as a channel for this energy, using light touch or working just above the body to support your body's natural ability to restore balance. Many people experience Reiki as deeply relaxing, calming, grounding, or restorative.
One reason Reiki can feel so calming is that it may help the body shift out of a stress response (often called the "fight, flight, or freeze" state of the nervous system) and into a more relaxed, restorative state. This shift can create space for rest, healing, and a greater sense of ease.
Every person's experience is unique. Some people notice physical sensations such as warmth, tingling, or heaviness, while others simply feel more peaceful, clear-headed, or emotionally lighter after a session.
Reiki is not tied to any religion or belief system and can be received by anyone. Whether you're seeking relaxation, stress relief, emotional support, or simply a moment to reconnect with yourself, Reiki offers a gentle space to slow down and receive.
While Reiki is not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment, many people find it to be a valuable complement to their overall wellness and healing journey.

Anxiety and nervous system dysregulation

Reiki is not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment, but many people find it to be a supportive complement to their overall wellness journey.

Yes and no. The Reiki offered during Rooted events is the same Reiki energy that I channel during a private session. However, the experience is quite different.
During a Rooted hike, Reiki is offered briefly in a group setting as part of the overall experience. While many participants find it relaxing, grounding, and restorative, the focus of the event is shared between the hike, mindfulness practices, reflection, journaling, community connection, and Reiki.
A private Reiki session is a dedicated one-on-one experience centered entirely around you. With more time and individualized attention, there is greater opportunity to relax deeply, explore specific intentions, and receive a more personalized experience.
Many people enjoy experiencing Reiki for the first time during a Rooted event and later choose to explore a private session for a deeper experience.
As a thank you for being part of the Rooted community, participants receive 50% off their initial Reiki session with Lexi at UnJaded.

These walks are designed to be accessible to any/all fitness levels. You can expect the terrain to be mostly flat and our pace to be leisurely. We encourage everyone to move at their own pace and will always have a facilitator at the front and back of the group. There are planned stops along our route where we settle in for 10-20 minutes, allowing for rest and recovery.

While we love the little ones, we generally discourage young children from attending Rooted Sessions due to the nature of the workshop being centered around reflection, meditation, and reiki. Older children are welcome if you feel they are able to participate in these activities :)
